At the invitation of Research Fellow Bai Ling, Prof. Suko Prayitno Adi and Dr. Supriyanto Rohadi from BMKG, visited TPESER on June 13, 2023, and conducted discussions on international cooperation with TPESER.
Academician Ding Lin, Director of TPESER, first delivered a speech welcoming the delegation of BMKG to visit TPESER, and briefly introduced the general situation and scientific research progress of TPESER. Prof. Suko Prayitno Adi then presented the general situation of BMKG and the research on monitoring, analysis and information dissemination of Indonesia earthquake and tsunami. Wang Zhuo from the Office of International Cooperation Pilot introduced the progress of our institute regarding international cooperation to the delegation of BMKG. Dr. Supriyanto Rohadi introduced the research work concerning earthquake in Indonesia. After that, the two sides discussed the potential international cooperation direction and research content in the future, and reached preliminary cooperation intentions and consensus.
