Research Fellow Li Lin from the University of Arizona was Invited to Visit the Key Laboratory of Tibetan Plateau Earth System, Environment and Resources (TPESER)

At the invitation of Research Fellow Huang Wentao, Deputy Director of TPESER, Research Fellow Li Lin from the University of Arizona visited TPESER on July 28, 2023. Academician Ding Lin, Director of TPESER, together with scientific research backbones, participated in this academic exchange.

Research Fellow Li Lin gave a lecture entitled "Carbonate diagenesis constrained by clumped isotope thermometry and U-Pb dating: a case study from the Gerze Basin, central Tibet". The two sides had in-depth exchanges and discussions on the diagenetic history of lacustrine carbonate rocks in the middle and late Eocene epoch of Gaize region at the central Tibetan Plateau and the credibility of future results about paleoelevation.
