Dr. John He from the University of Arizona was invited to visit the Key Laboratory of Tibetan Plateau Earth System, Environment and Resources (TPESER)

On August 8, 2023, Dr. He from the University of Arizona was invited to give an academic lecture. Academician Ding Lin, Director of TPESER, together with scientific research backbones, participated in this academic exchange.

Dr. He gave a lecture entitled "Basin Record of a Miocene lithosphere drip beneath the Colorado Plateau". The two sides exchanged the "lithosphere drip" model formed in Bidahochi Basin in Colorado Plateau during the Miocene, and discussed the applicability of this model to the central Tibetan Plateau.
